My brother-in-law and sister-in-law went through something similar. They said that fear always has us acting in a “safe” way. But what they found through hitting rock bottom, was that they survived. They survived joblessness with a family. It wasn’t pretty, it wasn’t easy, but they survived. And now they know there is nothing to fear at rock bottom because they’ve been there. So…..he is now a published author through Amazon, after suppressing his passion since University (choosing the “sensible” career). They needed their doors closed before he found a completely different path. He now earns great money, doing work he likes doing story telling for businesses. And has time for his writing too. All the best in your journey. Hopefully this helps. (Oh, and he is happier than he’s ever been, after having depression on and off).
